About College
In 1984–85, due to the dynamic decision of former Maharashtra Education Minister *Shri Sudhakarrao Naik* and under the efficient leadership of *Shri Balasaheb Deshmukh* and *Shri Vijay Patil Chondekar, **Shri Vitthal Rukmini Arts and Commerce College* was established. Through the dedicated efforts of *Shri Aniruddha Patil Chondekar* and *Shri Shivajirao Balasaheb Deshmukh (Savanekar), the Science Faculty was introduced in the college in 2009–10. Even after the demise of **Shri Balasaheb Deshmukh*, one of the pillars of the institution, his inspiration continues to guide us. The college is affiliated with *Amravati University* and is the only grant-in-aid college in the rural area of *Mahagaon Taluka. The college is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. During the academic session **2026–2027, undergraduate courses such as **B.A., B.Com., and B.Sc.* are being conducted.
Arts & The college has a beautiful campus and a spacious play ground in the heart of the village. The main building is of rectangle shape having G + 1 floor plan, having the separate wing for Reception and Office, Laboratories, Library, Auditorium, Class Rooms.
The college has provided the facilities given below Shri. Vitthal Rukhmini Mahavidyalaya has been established with the motto of providing higher educational facilities to the rural and backward students from the every academic session.
