Shri Vitthal Rukmini College, Sawana, founded in 1984–85 through the visionary efforts of Late Balasaheb Deshmukh Savnekar, has today grown from a small sapling into a flourishing banyan tree. The college has been continuously working towards educating and empowering society, particularly in rural areas, while helping students develop the skills necessary to thrive in society. I warmly welcome all students seeking admission to this institution. Along with the university curriculum, the college strives to provide value-based and holistic education to shape a well-rounded and cultured new generation. In addition to core academic subjects, opportunities are provided in Environmental Science, Computer Science, sports, and various skill-development activities. The institution also promotes self-employment and entrepreneurship through several innovative schemes and programs.
